Food with a story

More than a list of famous dishes.

Singapore's food tells the story of the people who came here, the communities they built and the traditions they adapted along the way.

On this private heritage food tour, Adam connects each tasting with the history and everyday life surrounding it. Discover how trade, migration, religion and family traditions influenced what Singaporeans cook, share and eat today.

You will leave with more than a full stomach—you will understand why these flavours matter to Singapore.

Three cultural districts

Explore Singapore one neighbourhood—and one flavour—at a time.

Chinatown

Discover food traditions shaped by Chinese migrants, dialect communities, trade and changing urban life.

Little India

Experience flavours connected with Singapore's Indian communities while exploring the relationship between food, faith and cultural identity.

Kampong Gelam

Explore the historic Malay–Arab quarter and discover culinary influences shaped by regional travel, commerce and Muslim heritage.

Your private food experience

Stories, tastings and time to explore.

This experience is reserved exclusively for you and your group. There is time to ask questions, engage with the stories and enjoy the tastings without being combined with unfamiliar travellers.

The route is planned to introduce different aspects of Singapore's multicultural food heritage. Exact dishes, stalls and route order may change according to opening hours, availability and dietary requirements.

What might you taste?

A changing selection of Singapore flavours.

Depending on the route and availability, tastings may include dishes such as laksa, chicken rice, appam, roti prata or putu piring.

The exact selection may change according to stall opening hours, availability and dietary requirements. Individual dishes are examples and are not guaranteed.

Before your tour

Let Adam know what you need.

Vegetarian, vegan, halal, no-pork and many allergy-related requirements can usually be accommodated when communicated in advance. The route and tastings may be adjusted accordingly.

Some hawker stalls use shared preparation areas, so a completely allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed. Guests with severe allergies should contact Adam before booking so the tour's suitability can be assessed.
